Imagine sitting comfortably reading a book about a faraway place? The rug will make a difference in our learning because our classroom has flooring; therefore, the carpet will provide some cushion when we gather. We will use the carpet for whole group instruction in reading and math, along with science and social studies. We will also use the carpet to play games and hold class meetings.
Students will gather at the magic carpet to learn new vocabulary, explore new places, become scientists, and learn about themselves and others in our community. The carpet will be a hub for our learning.
