My students love books! They love looking at the pages, reading them, making up their own stories, and retelling the stories. Having these books will be essential to our Reading centers this year. Students will use the books and props to read and then retell the story to their partner. Next, students will be able to record their own retelling video on the iPad! Without the books, this center will not be possible. Students will learn concepts of print, retelling stories, characters, main idea and key details while working at this center. Students will also learn how to take care of books and be "book lovers." Students will also learn to share and take turns by working with a partner at this center
