Unifix blocks seem simple, blocks that can be attached and detached, but they are so much more. My students lack basic place value concepts such as comparisons (greater than, less than, and equal to) and can easily use the physical blocks to learn the different values. Moving on to addition, they can use the blocks to physically count (add) two number together. From the simplest topics in math to more complex tasks, such as multiplication and division, these unifix cubes are an asset to both filling my students' gaps in math and challenging those that are up to the challenge!
