Your donation will allow us to expand our Circus Arts Program. It will provide a wide range of possibilities for movement including: acrobatics, tumbling, balance work, tossing and controlling objects, clowning, developing a circus act story, and performing in front of an audience. Individually, each student will have the opportunity to improve their fine and gross motor skills, coordination, balance, perseverance, self-esteem, team work, focus, and work ethic. With this equipment, my students will be able to master new skills, explore, imagine, create and perform different sequences of movement, and showcase their work. Our current program is extremely limited so often students are waiting to use the few circus props that we have. With this expansion, all classes would have enough variety of props to be fully engaged in class activities. We would also be able to have a school wide Circus performance where multiple grades could join together to perform for others, including the wider community.
