My students must keep up with the latest advancements in education to spark an interest in learning. However, our classroom and students lack many supplies and advancements. First, I’d like to supply each of the students with their own class folder and teach them organization and accountability. I am also looking for some classroom timers so I can tone our activities and switch them as frequently as possible. Most middle school students cannot focus for longer than 8 minutes at a time!
Most importantly, in language class students need to use headphones with microphones for many activities such as speaking and listening. We have laptops but we do not have funding for headphones. With headphones and microphones, students would be able to use the computer to complete class activities on their own pace.
