Imagine sitting at your computer and listening to an interactive lesson on a math concept you struggle with. Instead of being able to concentrate, you have to adjust the fit of your headphones every minute so they don’t hurt your ears, causing you to miss what’s being taught to you. My students in the math lab struggle with this constantly. We are requesting a class set of new headphones so students can enhance their understanding of math. Our students come from disadvantaged homes and can’t afford to bring comfortable headphones to class. Our sets are bulky, bent out of shape, usually only work on one side, and hurt the students' ears. New headphones will help our students be able to focus on learning.
