Have you ever wanted to create something? These kids are doing it! We are bringing Textile Arts back into the middle school classroom. Inspire the next generation of fashion designers, cosplayers, toymakers​, etc.! Maybe one of these students will end up on Project Runway, or at New York Fashion Week. Students start with small felt finger puppets and plushies and learn hand sewing and machine skills. As their skills grow, we move onto garments that can be given as gifts or saved as usable keepsakes. Aprons with iron-on transfers are one such project students will create. We will also be creating pencil pouches, pajama pants, and more.
