At our school, we have been given the banner from the ADL for 7 years because of our strong support of staff, students, and community members to support our No Place for Hate club on campus. This year, we had SO many students sign up for our club and we found that we had no t-shirts to give these students and no money in our budget to buy them. No Place for Hate is a club that unites our campus against bullying, hate, antisemitism, and bigotry on ALL levels. Our students meet with our staff regularly to discuss specific issues we see on campus as well as help plan events and activities to remind their peers that they are loved and welcomed here, no matter where they come from or who they are. Allowing these students to wear their No Place for Hate shirts weekly will continue to show unity across our campus and give our students a purpose at our school.
