We are requesting four Amazon Fire tablets to use in the classroom to improve their reading skills and levels! The students right now do not have enough copies of the reading material. Therefore they have to share. I would like the tablets to allow them to read on there. Many students also do not like that you cannot zoom into the reading on Chromebooks or print. The tablets allow the students to be up close to the reading. I also plan on using the tablets to allow students to work individually to improve their reading levels. We also do not have access to laptops or the computers all the time in my classroom, so to have at least the tablets all the time in the room will help us have access to technology when we need it.
