Thank you for your consideration in support of this project. The requested items for this project include materials that will give the students in my ASD Pre-K class, various opportunities with sensory tools that have different textures, weights, functions, and purposes. These experiences will help with self- regulation skills, improved behaviors, attention span, communication, and socialization. Research continues to show correlations between sensori-motor seeking and needs to observable behaviors across all areas. The children in my class have unlimited potential to learn and grow, and reaching them at an early age during the brain’s development is critical to their future success.
