My students learn so much better with hands-on activities and they absolutely love exploring with math manipulatives! Right now, I pass out the manipulatives every time we need to use them (which is pretty much every day). This process takes up way too much time and my kindergartners always seem to be misplacing their math manipulatives.
This project will not only help my students keep all of their manipulatives in one, organized, safe spot, but it will also make it so much easier for them to go get what they need when needed. Everything my students need will be in their math box, that will be kept in their cubbies. This is only my second year teaching, so I also am asking for a few more tools to add to their amazing math boxes.
