Every high school student is required to be reading an independent reading book. However, for some students, the texts in our school library are not at their independent reading level. These books will help English language learners, students with disabilities, and others reading below grade level, to access high-interest texts at their reading level. The topics in these books will also expand their world-view beyond our rural community and introduce our newcomers to important figures and elements of our history and culture.
We are on a quest to make every student a reader!
