The banding wheels will help students see their work in the round and help them make more symmetrical works of art. Working in three dimensions is sometimes very difficult for beginning students. These wheels will provide students with an easy way to turn their projects and see the whole form. Most ceramic artists have these in their studio. Banding wheels are a turntable that can be used for decorating, sculpting, carving and handbuilding ceramics. When students can turn their project they become more aware of the three dimensional qualities that clay and ceramics can have. Thank you for your consideration to fund this project.
