As a newer teacher I am still acquiring what I think my students need to learn best. I enjoy giving students the opportunity to learn and share with all of their peers. A warm and inviting learning environment is essential to a successful classroom. I have created this project to get my classroom a big rug where we can sit for whole group lessons. This shared space is important for students to be comfortable for learning as well as providing space for whole group discussions and rehearsals. This rug will provide a space for students to listen, learn, and share thinking in order for their minds to flourish.

About my class
