Children spend so much of their day at school, August through May. It's a fun, imaginative, and creative space where children learn and create lasting, meaningful friendship. School, especially Kindergarten, is such a magical place!
It is within these walls that magic happens!
To make it even more magical, more engaging, and a little more like home, here is what these class materials will be used for:
The seat cushions would allow my students to be comfortable while doing their learning anywhere in the classroom. An added benefit of these cushions would also allow students to spread out to maintain social distancing.
Trampolines in the class allow for movement all throughout the day. Engaging students' large motor skills helps increase focus, attention, and concentration. I also plan to allow students earn jumps throughout...a fun way to keep students engaged and ready to learn.
Lastly, file wall mount is a space for students to keep their work. A place where they can easily see any unfinished work they need to complete and use their time wisely to finish it as time allows throughout their week.
This is how I plan to create a cozy Kindergarten room my students will enjoy!
