I will create a fully sustainable aqua cultural growing system, growing foods, such a strawberries, tomatoes, greens while simultaneously growing of tilapia fish to market size. This Stem activity will encourage basic engineering skills and will incorporate urban agricultural practice.
Having these hands on aqua cultural systems in class will encourage our students to grow their own food and shrink themselves/their families carbon footprint. The idea is to teach kids how to grow their own food. the light bulbs are a must and so are the funnel tanks for separating solid fish waste. The pumps are a needed input to move the water.
Most importantly is teaching our Low income kids to reach their own food.
