Each day, my students have 30 minutes for silent, independent reading. The books in this project will give them a variety of titles to choose from, regardless of their reading interests.
Several of my students have asked about the titles in this project. Specifically, many girls have asked about The Baby-Sitters Club books because at the moment I only have one. Since my class enjoys graphic novels, I know they will be thrilled to hear about series like Dog Man being added to our classroom library.
Thank you in advance for helping foster my students' love of reading! By donating to this project, you are supporting 29 current 5th graders as well as a future of avid readers in my classroom!
