By funding this project, students will be able to enter mathematical data from their engineering design work into a 3-D printer to create life size models of their thinking.
This tool will allow our STEM initiatives to come alive for students throughout the building as they transfer conceptual learning into 3-D artifacts. This showcase of their learning will be on display during our year STEM community showcase.
This will be a culminating experience for students in grades 3-5. They will graduate from our STEM school having mastered coding, collaboration and model construction. Some examples of potential design models include algae catchers and solar racing cars.
