I am asking for gloves and umbrellas to be used by our student crossing guards on cold and rainy days. Our crossing guard group is made up of fourth and fifth-grade volunteers. These students have gone through training to make sure that they are prepared for their job. They do an amazing job of helping students cross the road safely after school. We live in the middle of two busy roads, so it takes quite of few of them to do their job.
Living in eastern Washington, the weather can be quite unpredictable.
These umbrellas and gloves will ensure that our crossing guards are ready to go, rain or shine.
