My students sit on the floor, move around the room, play different instruments, perform partner activities, and so much more! Having a carpet will allow for spatial and audio regulation in the classroom. Having tile floors and no sound panels make for a loud (and sometimes harsh) environment on students' developing ears. My students will be able to perform to full capacity, and comfortably, without any worries of being too loud. The carpet I selected will help provide students with a safe learning environment for their ears, and will allow them to explore more with instruments. Tapping rhythm sticks on the floor will be a worry no more!
