There are so many instruments that have beautiful sound and are used in many masterpieces. However, due to their cost, a lot of public do not have the instruments readily available for students to use. A well-balanced band has support from low instruments. The bassoon is one of the lowest woodwinds and adds a lot of color and tone to the band. The band at our school is over 150 students strong and miss out on a variety of larger instruments due to cost. The whole group, and entire music department, will benefit from one or two bassoons in the ensemble.

About my class
