I am requesting some assistance to keep my Superstar Snack Shack incentive program operational and active. Once a week, students are given an opportunity to select from a treasure chest of items (healthy snacks, bottled water, chips, special treats, and school supplies) whenever they earn an 80% or above on a test or quiz. Students really enjoy participating in this program because it motivates them to perform to the best of their ability, thereby enhancing and improving their educational experience. They often mention how much they enjoy the healthy competition that this project promotes. In addition, and most importantly, my students are having fun while learning mathematics . . . and they actually want to learn, understand, and master the algebra concepts presented. It is very exciting to witness the noticeable boost in the confidence, self-esteem, ability, pride, and performance of each student involved.
