For an individual with low motor control, it can be difficult to hold, push or pull a toy. By using a switch activated toy, these students can play with cause and effect toys. Having a range of quality manipulatives and toys helps ensure that each individual child is given an opportunity to explore, learn and develop their skills in an educational environment through playful learning.
Providing a switch activated toy can bring such joy to a child who is often unable to participate in play alone or with others.
Other students will enjoy playing along with these toys as well, which encourages sharing and turn-taking opportunities. All children love to play!
