In our classroom, we use small group workshops and Thinking Maps to help us with different concepts. Thinking maps help us organize our thoughts into categories. They are especially useful during writing, which is an area many students struggle with. They help set up our plan and get our drafts completed.
Your donations will help give us the materials needed to successfully implement writing workshops in our classroom! We use colored pens along with the maps to separate and focus on each of our paragraphs. We also meet in small groups for ability and skill based mini lessons to improve our writing.
