April is Autism Acceptance Month. We are hoping to collect resources to educate our regular educational students about autism and what they can do to accept our friends with autism. Our students at Beaver Creek have questions all year about autism, and books would be a great resource to help them understand their friends at Beaver Creek with autism. Literature allows students to become educated on topics in a safe way and it can make a difficult conversation like disabilities more approachable. These resources would be available at any time for any teacher at Beaver Creek. I hope you will consider our project. Thank you.
