When students return to the classroom they will need a classroom environment that is conducive to helping them be successful in a traditional setting. During this pandemic students are adapting in very non-traditional education settings. When we come back to the classroom my students will need flexibility when reestablishing classroom rituals and routines. Sitting in a hard chair with limited movement with and expectation of singular focus with be difficult. Flexible seating will allow students to easily partner and work cooperatively. This will be especially helpful to students from low socioeconomic backgrounds and need a stable classroom environment that is welcoming, allows for flexibility and differentiation. The supplies form this project will increase engagement between peers and the teacher by providing an post Covid-19 classroom where students can learn.
