Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education.
I work daily in small groups in reading, math and intervention time. Kindergartners can be very busy and frequently get off task. By receiving the materials on my Ðǿմ«Ã½ list, my students can get extra help matching upper-and lower-case letters, making words, putting sounds together and reading emergent reading books. The math manipulatives will be used to count to twenty, sorting and building. The students will rotate to four or five center activities that align with the state standards.
Through items donated via this Ðǿմ«Ã½ project, the activities will focus on deepening the students' knowledge as hands-on materials are much better than a worksheet and keep kindergartners engaged.
