I am a firm believer that our young students learn best when they have hands-on activities. In my project Learning Through Play with Task Boxes, my young learners will be able to work on state standards through play. All of the task boxes focus on a specific skill and fine motor development.
Learning through play keeps the young students engaged in the task and it also helps them think outside the box. When a student is moving and engaging their whole body by using as many senses as possible, the child will absorb and retain the information at a higher rate.
