My students will be able to develop and strengthen their imaginations while playing in the kitchen area. They will also get to show off their creativity while building with Legos at the Lego table. My students will also strengthen their social skills and vocabulary while engaging with their peers in these purposeful play activities. They will practice taking turns which can be a hard skill to learn when you are 5. My students will also use the sensory table with different items all year long to practice sorting objects, classifying objects, and they will even have the opportunity to self-regulate by drawing and playing in the sand.
