Due to our physical therapy caseload population with the majority of children coming from lower household incomes, Pittsburgh Public Schools provides free breakfast and lunch to all of their students, including Early Childhood and Early Intervention children due to appropriate eligibility indicators. As a result, the majority of our children are from lower household incomes and are Head Start eligible.
The materials provided from this donors choose will give students and families the opportunity to have more gross motor learning experiences while learning at home virtually and at school with gross motor play; play creatively as family and with other peers while working on their IEP goals and with movement.
