The materials on this list will make a difference in students' learning environment. Students will be able to have their own supplies just for them to use daily in the classroom. They will learn responsibility. The expectation will be to keep up with their learning materials. It will give them a sense of pride to have their own materials to participate in class conversations and discussions.
I teach at a Title I school where we serve breakfast and lunch to all of our students for free. The materials would benefit students greatly because a majority of my students cannot afford items needed daily even during this pandemic, like face masks, which are needed for social distance learning. Students will need their own supplies being that they cannot share them with others. My students and I will appreciate anything to help us learn throughout the day.
The teacher supplies are greatly needed in order to help students express themselves, such as the chart paper and markers. Students will be able to us highlighters to find important information in any readable text. Pens, pencils, pencil sharpeners, and headphones will also help them with writing and checking work, as well as using the computer to engage in learning apps throughout the school day. Please consider donating to our classroom. Thank you!!
