Our class enjoys learning about healthy living and essential life skills. One way to combine the two is to provide opportunities for all students to learn to make healthy meals. While we are learning from home, during this pandemic, we are providing these opportunities virtually. We have partnered with our garden teacher to provide fresh ingredients to all families so that we can encourage healthy living and continue to provide opportunities for our students to learn these invaluable life skills. Once a month we have a virtual cooking lesson, where we all prepare a recipe together, virtually.
Once we return to in person learning, we will resume our cooking lessons. These materials will help us ensure that each of our special education students receives a chance to learn these essential life skills
