Working with the hands helps to engage the brain! Real-life activities help students connect their learning to the real world. By gardening, students can watch science concepts come to life. This will allow students to witness a plant germinate from seed, grow, bloom, and ripen. Other practical life activities like sewing and woodworking can help students put math and geometry concepts like accurate measurement to work.
