Social skills are not something that we can escape. We use them everyday to help us read facial expressions, laugh at jokes, know how to approach delicate situations, deal with family and friend problems, and understanding our own feelings. Through the use of interactive materials with socially based concepts we can grow social skills in our Middle and High school aged students. They will be able to develop who they are as a person and where they fit into the world. They will understand how to navigate social situations within the school, public, and work place settings.
With these new games, interactive media, and activities my students will be able to learn social rules, apply social problem solving, and carryover skills to real world situations.
By donating to our project, you will ultimately set our students up for successful interpersonal relationships, careers and futures.
