The book takes readers through his journey and models the value of reflection. Considering the social and emotional needs of teens in a world where they feel constant pressure to achieve and produce, this novel can help them learn to enjoy the present, see the beauty in their struggle, and recognize that the journey is the goal. We would love to add this novel to our classroom collection for our students.
