Many of my students need support with staying on task and focused. Over the years, I have using flex seating for students who have difficultly paying attention; however, students have shared these seating options with classmates. For the 2020-2021 school year, students are no longer able to share materials. Students are also not switching classes this year, so their is less movement in their day. Students with attention issues need movement throughout their day. My goal is to purchase a few extra seating options so students can have their own flex seating device.
My students are more engaged and less distracted when they are provided a more comfortable chair or a fidget device. I have selected different products that will allow students to wobble in their seats or use bands to bounce their feet on for extra movement. These seating options will be used at their personal workspace.
