These supplies will provide my students the opportunity to create masterpieces. The joy and sense of accomplishment that comes from creating is an essential life experience. The necessity for art in these young children is greater now than ever before.
These new challenges brought upon us by the pandemic have greatly magnified the inequalities in our public schools. My students, with your help, will have the resources to make art both in school and at home. These supplies will be included in an art kit which will travel between home and school. Some kits will stay at home with our full time remote learners.
I will be able to give my students an authentic art education with these resources. They will distract my students from the disruption of the pandemic and allow them hours to escape into their personal, creative world. Lessons will be enriched with these supplies as we journey towards making wonderful, original, works of art!
