Being a first-year teacher can be challenging, especially during a pandemic. Due to COVID-19, my school district has adopted an educational plan requiring all students to receive remote instruction for the first quarter. However, as a special education teacher, my students have the option to receive in-person instruction at school.
All of my students have elected to return to school on September 8th.
I am asking for these materials in an effort to provide my students with the opportunity to work with manipulatives and have hands-on learning experiences. Since materials cannot be shared in the classroom, my students each need their own individual supplies that they can access from their desks.
Having enough materials for each of my students to have their own will help to prevent the spread of germs.
