With your help, these Chromebooks will bring us closer to being a one-to-one classroom. My students are developing technology skills that allow them to show off things they learn in the classroom in non-traditional ways. They love to create slideshows and videos, and now they are reaching farther than ever by creating websites!
My students are creating website portfolios to share their products with family and friends.
This allows them to be themselves and take pride in what they have learned and how they show their knowledge. The addition of the Chromebooks will help students use online tools to create their portfolios using Google Classroom, Google Docs, Google Slides, and Google Sites. Getting closer to being a one-to-one classroom will allow students the freedom to work independently on their portfolios and not worry about other factors that may take time away from their projects.
