The materials for this project will allow my students to learn while they are comfortable.
This year, our classroom looks a bit different as we are required to wear masks, use dividers, and social distance. Many of our typical flexible seating options had to be put away in storage because they were not germ-friendly. For now, we are working with what we have!
The high bar seats will replace worn out and squeaky ones that we have been using for two options at a high table. The kids love this section of our classroom, they say because it feels like they are at a restaurant or coffee shop. The bungee seats would replace fuzzy chairs that we are not allowed to have in the classroom at this time. They are definitely a classroom favorite, and an easy calm down seating option for kids that like to bounce while they work. The stadium seats will serve as comfortable options for our kids that sit at the low to the ground table to provide back support.
Even though this year is a bit different, the kids have been amazing at persevering with all of the changes. Thank you for your support in helping me make this the best year possible for my kids!
