Setting goals is sometimes hard for kindergarten students. I have found that having them take pictures of themselves reaching benchmarks or accomplishing things they didn't think they could, do help them learn to identify what reasonable and real goals are. At the end of the year, I will develop their pictures and they will create a scrapbook of memories of them reaching their goals during their kindergarten year. This will be a keepsake for them and their parents of the growth and development they have made over the course of the year.

About my class
