If you learn to read, you can do anything! Kindergarten students have such an incredible learning curve ahead. Creating an inspiring classroom that captures their attention and sparks an interest in their environment will engage my kids. This ocean animal rug will give students a soft place to stretch out and read comfortably! It will build upon their very diverse background knowledge about our local Atlantic Ocean, and the animals that live in it. It’s soft textures and bold colors will welcome and stimulate the different ways in which my kids learn!
An ocean animal themed rug will add to the other resources I purchased the past 6 years: trade books, math manipulatives, science equipment for experiments, art supplies and stickers, bulletin boards materials, photos, and research materials about our ocean creatures, the Florida environment and local animal habitats. Our children need to learn to be environmentally conscious and to take care of our world. I want to get them started in Kindergarten- please help!
