The 2020-2021 school year is a challenge for all teachers. I am in the classroom teaching a group of fabulous 4th graders but something is missing. That something is noise! A classroom full of socially distant students means students can't be working together. They can't talk problems out, read books together, turn and talk, or work in groups. This makes the classroom too quiet.
Headphones with microphones can make my classroom go from a quiet classroom to a classroom filled with productive discourse. Through the use of google meet, breakout rooms, and these headphones with the microphones my students will be able to work together while remaining socially distant.
