Lower students that also come from rough home lives have a hard time trusting adults and connecting. If I can offer students a hands-on activity that they are comfortable with and relaxes them, they are more able to connect to me as a teacher and then will be more willing to complete school work. Students feeling safe and loved is the most important thing I can provide students, so I borrowed Knex for a few students to give them something active and engaging to connect with. I would like to provide more students with this opportunity as well.

About my class
