These books will provide opportunities for students to read great literature. They will also be used for whole group read alouds and also for small reading groups. Reading a book provides fluency practice and an opportunity to practice comprehension through a retell. Students enjoy reading fun, interesting stories. Reading increases when there are many different kinds of books available for children to enjoy. Read, read, read and let your imagination run wild as you flip through the pages. I have requested some Non-fiction titles as well to encourage reading interesting books with facts.
