Could you imagine trying to learn construction skills at home without the proper tools and materials to work with???!!!
This project will help students learn building principles and techniques at home that would resemble what they would normally do at school with regular materials and power tools.
The kit includes all the materials needed, including: blueprints, balsa wood, glue, nails, and cutting board. Since students are in a virtual setting and do not have access to the shop, I believe this is a good replacement that still teaches the students blueprint reading and principles of construction.
