A portable basketball hoop would be beneficial to keep our students active during a challenging year. We have basketballs but I would love to be able to teach shooting skills as well. I have created many cross-curricular basketball activities including math games, Spanish vocabulary building and working with sight words. Our school does not have a gymnasium so having a basketball hoop that we can move around would be great for our students. I also run an afternoon sports group for students that are meeting expectations in the classroom. It has been expressed to me that basketball is their favorite sport and they would be so happy to be able to practice at school.
