My goal for is to allow students to have the materials to make them successful in all content areas. For example, I plan to have students create math journals to increase their math skills and vocabulary. Also, I will have my ESL class use binders to organize their work to help them learn how to read, write and speak English more fluently. This will help us with out daily routines; story of the day, daily oral language activities, and journaling. Their ultimate goal is to pass the AZELLA test and I believe that by keeping their work together, they can review their notes and work to keep the learning progress going! By being able to have all the necessary supplies ready (binders, notebooks, pencils, etc.), my students will be able to write in their own notebooks; create portfolios of their completed achievements, tell their own stories. Since many families are still questioning the return, I want to have ample cleaning supplies to keep the classroom room safe and sanitary. In addition to academic materials, I asked for outdoor play equipment; I love watching the students at recess interacting, laughing....being kids! By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement and English language acquisition!
