My students eat very early in the day and are hungry by the afternoon. They have trouble focusing when they are hungry and they become tired and unmotivated. I would use these snacks as an incentive. Not only would the snacks benefit my students physically, but they will also help them mentally and give students a sense of comfort in my classroom knowing they can look at it as a home with food.
These snack options will ensure that no child goes home hungry. I know that my students would be so thankful to have options to choose from as they don't get the opportunity to choose what they eat often.
