Special Education students each have unique ways of learning. Though my students may be at home physically, technology has made it possible for students to visit all kinds of places from the comfort of their classroom or home. I want to enhance my students' learning by taking them on virtual field trips that will still give them access to the rest of the outside world. Virtual field trips for my special education students will expose them to world class art, learning about history, discovering science and even seeing what outer space looks like.
My students deserve to have as much normalcy in their education experience that I can provide. I would love nothing more than to take 2 students a day on a virtual field trip by going to their homes to allow them to use the equipment that can open new worlds of experiences for them. Things are so difficult for my scholars and this will give them motivation and support in these difficult times.
